Responsibilities:
- Gain manufacturing experience by working with Engineers, Operations, and Management on determined projects across aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation sectors.
- Learn and understand plant operations in aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation sectors by collaborating with the operations team on a daily basis.
- Demonstrate commitment to achieving Zero Harm through behavioral-based safety practices in all areas of operation.
- Spend time understanding the business while being mentored by assigned managers and Engineers in aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation sectors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete assigned tasks and projects spanning aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation industries.
- Participate in researching and designing projects relevant to mechanical engineering across aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation sectors.
- Present findings and results on projects completed during the internship program across aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation sectors.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare clear reports and presentations for aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation projects.
- Apply design engineering principles to develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges across aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation industries.
- Actively participate in problem-solving activities and implement corrective actions as needed in aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation sectors.
- Seek continuous learning opportunities to enhance technical proficiency and contribute to project success across aerospace, medical device, defense, and automation fields.
