The Tulsa Immigrant Community Development Corporation, LLC (doing business as Eastside Rise) mission is to ensure east Tulsa’s community can prosper in their neighborhoods by strategically coordinating and convening holistic economic development of the area. We provide resources, tools, and services to build assets, foster entrepreneurship, and preserve the authenticity of east Tulsa neighborhoods.

Role Overview

Eastside Rise seeks to hire a Program Coordinator to join a new, dynamic community development corporation in east Tulsa. This role is pivotal to the organization as it will support east Tulsa’s community and neighborhoods by fostering strong community engagement practices and programs. By providing resources, tools, and services, the organization aims to build community assets, foster entrepreneurship, and preserve the authenticity of east Tulsa neighborhoods, making a tangible difference in the lives of the residents.

As the Program Coordinator, your role will focus on the implementation of current Eastside Rise programs. This currently includes a naturalization program and a housing program. This includes processing applications, supporting with recruitment of clients through community partners and trusted messengers, follow up throughout the program, and tracking data. This individual will also support the Executive Director by providing program feedback for continuous improvement. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented person who is skilled at program implementation and can work independently, enjoys helping people in diverse situations, and can identify areas for improvement. 


Job Responsibilities:

Program Implementation (70%)

  • Process all applications for naturalization and housing programs, facilitating next steps and approval processes
  • Work closely with programmatic partners to streamline processes and implement programs efficiently
  • Work closely with vendors, community-based organizations and other key stakeholders to continuously improve the program
  • Develop and consistently follow strong procedures and processes to implement the program
  • Input relevant application data, timely follow up and other operational needs to support the program
  • Submit all invoices as required to Executive Director for approval
  • Collaborate with Community Engagement Manager and community stakeholders to recruit eligible clients to program


Reporting/Data Systems (20%)

  • Complete all data tracking and reporting
  • Analyze program data for continuous improvement


Team-wide Responsibilities (10%)

  • Participate in team meetings and activities to support learning and development including, but not limited to, weekly staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Represent the organization in external meetings, professional groups, conferences, and other relevant settings
  • Participate in community-based activities to gain exposure to various aspects of the organization’s efforts, and receive coaching and professional development from your manager and other staff members
  • Contribute to the organization’s projects in other ways, as assigned
Requirements

Education

  • Associate degree required and commensurate experience.
  • Bachelors preferred.


Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a related position, including previous experience in program implementation.
  • Proven ability to work independently and build relationships with stakeholders and clients.

  • Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed primarily in an office setting in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Some evenings, weekends, and outdoor work are required.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and move up to twenty-five pounds.
