BASIC JOB FUNCTION

Greenskeepers under the direction of the Supervisor perform routine manual labor involved in golf course desert landscape maintenance; operate small hand powered equipment, hand pruning, raking, hula hoeing and miscellaneous related work as required.

RELATIONSHIPS

Works together with all the club staff, landscape maintenance employees and golf course personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to operate hand powered hedge trimmers, use loppers and hand pruners and hula hoes to keep desert landscape areas clean and well maintained. Must be able to withstand repetitive motion.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Should be able to effectively and efficiently manage time, work well in stressful situations, easily adapt to change and learn quickly, maintain a positive attitude and work well with others. Must be able to squat, kneel, stoop, perform overhead trimming and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

SUPERVISION

Reports directly to the Superintendent or Foreman.
