Non-Licensed Security Management Systems Technician has technical expertise and training, including but not limited to, supporting and assisting a Lenel Certified Professional (LCP) or Legacy Master/Emerald certified technician, with the preparation, installation, maintenance, and repair EOC/EDC/EPACS hardware and software components required for dispatch consoles, badge/enrollment workstation with related components, printers, CCTV security cameras, video recorders, security servers, security field panels and subpanels and entry/access control systems including cabling, card readers, REX devices, intrusion and duress alarms and motion detectors.

- Program and install access control systems
- Program and install IP based cameras
- Maintain and repair access control systems
- Maintain and repair cameras
- Perform daily system tests
- Order hardware and material for new systems
- Maintain inventory of stock levels
- Install multimedia systems as required
- Fabricate new cable assemblies as needed
- Build up and test new LENEL panels
- Build up and test new hardware
- Perform fiber optic systems maintenance
- Install automatic gate control systems
- Provide support for ISS systems operations
- Other duties as assigned

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
- Years of experience: 1+ years of related experience
- Experience installing access control systems, installing camera systems, new cable assembly, working on a lift truck
Computer Skills
- Effective communicator and be able to communicate in writing
- Have useable computer skills with a working understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
- Must be 21 years of age
- High School diploma
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
