Credit Underwriting Assistant
Description

We are hiring a Credit Underwriting Assistant with experience in the Commercial Lending space and proven time management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.


In this role you will:

• Generate pipeline reports

• Prepare for OLC/DLC meetings and take meeting minutes

• Act as a lending assistant for Special assets -

        Admin support including credit file set up & maintenance, past dues and exception tracking        Administer loan closings        Communicate with customers as needed         Manage all special asset loans in Baker Hill

• Provide Construction administrative support - 

        Processing payments to accounts payable        Updating/maintaining daily construction draw log and interest reserve report        BUILT invoice review        Construction loan fee reconciliation with Loan Ops        Monthly Construction Reports        Uploading compliance files to FDM

• Managing deal flow through Baker Hill

• Pull Credit and Lexis Nexis Reports

• Support additional projects as needed

• Provide additional lending admin support when needed


Requirements

  Required:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a commercial lending environment
  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible with daily tasks to accommodate the department’s workload
  • Able to work extended hours as needed

  

Preferred

  • 5 years of experience in a commercial lending environment
  • Technologically savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new software programs.
