JOB OPENING
Epiq Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Electronic Assembler to join our growing Production team that builds state-of-the-art wireless products. The primary responsibilities of this position are to assemble, perform final test and prepare products for shipping. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, fast learner, highly motivated, and experienced in a wide variety of manufacturing functions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute a variety of routine manufacturing tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Independently perform all aspects of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly, ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Operate circuit boards through test systems to verify build quality and compliance with specifications.
- Assemble, test, and package products utilizing hand tools, pneumatic drivers, and computerized equipment.
- Conduct in-process quality checks with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Efficiently manage production tasks, prioritizing workload effectively to meet deadlines.
- Perform basic inspections of incoming electrical and mechanical components to verify quality and compliance.
- Adhere to company electro-static discharge (ESD) procedures to ensure the integrity of sensitive components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with company safety standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electronics assembly industry.
- Highly self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in reading, interpreting, and following prints, diagrams, written and verbal work instructions, and other relevant production documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience operating automated test fixtures connected to electronic test equipment.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers for product assembly.
- Ability to accurately measure material thickness using a micrometer.
- Proficiency in reading and utilizing precision measuring tools including micrometers and calipers.
- Strong understanding of measurement units in both American (imperial) and metric systems.
- Computer proficiency requires; experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is highly desirable.
- Experience or interest in working with computers, wireless (RF), and/or software-based products in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
