Campus Worship Pastor
Description

To serve the church by leading, developing, managing, and coordinating a Worship Ministry to evangelize and support the mission of Indian Rocks Church and Christian School. To guide, teach, and nurture the music ministry through worship music and talent development. To provide leadership, training, and supervision to staff and volunteers in the music ministry.

  • Must give testimony and evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and sense the call of God to a serving ministry.
  • Consult with the Lead Pastor to prepare and deliver the musical content for the church and Worship Ministry, including special music programs.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage Worship Ministry Staff and volunteers to create an effective ministry program, including praise teams, accompaniment, orchestration, production, and ensembles.
  • Plan, organize and provide media support for concerts, productions, and events with guest artists as well as music for weddings, funerals
  • Develop and supervise the maintenance of the music library, following legal guidelines and managing costs. Protect and maintain all musical instruments and equipment, keeping an inventory.


Requirements
  • Education: Must have completed or be actively pursuing a College and/or seminary degree desired for ministry work.
  • Experience: Must have a verifiable ministry experience working with Music Ministry and proven leadership ability to motivate, lead, and impact members and prospects to work with a multi ministry church staff
  • Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the, Mission Statement, Statement of Faith of Indian Rocks, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks
  • Must be an active member of Indian Rocks with regular attendance in worship services, involvement in an Indian Rocks Life Group or Small Group and Commitment to systematic stewardship and faithful in tithing.
  • Responsible to perform the other duties as assigned and approved by supervising personnel to include, but not limited to: Lead Pastor, Church Administrator, Associate Pastors, Generations Pastor or Personnel Committee
