Campus Student Pastor
Description

To serve the Church and School by providing leadership, developing, managing, and coordinating an effective and comprehensive Student Ministry, to evangelize, baptize, serve in the ordinances of the church, while supporting the mission of Indian Rocks Church and Christian School. To provide leadership, training, and supervision to staff and volunteer ministry staff within your ministry area.

  • Must give testimony and evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and sense the call of God to a serving ministry. 
  • Develop, direct, and communicate the vision, mission, and ministry of the church through the Student Ministry, in cooperation with the church's ministries, committees, and members. 
  • Provide opportunities for studies, programs, mission trips, and camps to build relationships and offer evangelism, missions, and outreach. 
  • Prepare and deliver sermons and teachings for the church and Student Ministry. Recruit and manage Student Ministry staff and volunteers. 
  • Establish departmental goals and oversee the Student Ministry Budget. 
  • Help to organize a summer camp program for Middle School Students. 
  • Work with all church members to fulfil the mission of Indian Rocks and administer ministry programs with a focus on teamwork and support.


Requirements
  • Education: Must have completed or be actively pursuing a College and/or seminary degree desired for ministry work.
  • Experience: Must have a verifiable ministry experience working with youth.
  • Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the, Mission Statement, Statement of Faith of Indian Rocks, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks
  • Must be an active member of Indian Rocks with regular attendance in worship services, involvement in an Indian Rocks Life Group or Small Group and Commitment to systematic stewardship and faithful in tithing.
  • Responsible to perform the other duties as assigned and approved by supervising personnel to include, but not limited to: Lead Pastor, Church Administrator, Associate Pastors, Generations Pastor or Personnel Committee.
