Job Summary
Exegy is seeking a highly motivated Platform & Automation Engineer to join the Platform Engineering Team (PET) who plays a central role in ensuring that all R&D teams across the group have access to robust, scalable, and automated infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for, streamlining, and automating our internal infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with the PET team and R&D teams to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability in our development and deployment workflows.
What You’ll Do
· Enhance and automate CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and scripting (Bash & Python)
· Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform
Optimize and maintain Exegy's internal production services and platforms
Ensure scalability and resilience by improving our infrastructure provisioning and orchestration
· Collaborate with R&D teams to define infrastructure needs and best practices
Lead improvements in security and efficiency by implementing automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles
· Document and share knowledge across teams to drive consistency and reliability
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Automation
· Strong experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and pipeline automation
· Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) for automation and tooling development
· Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
· Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
· Experience with monitoring and observability tools is a plus
· Strong analytical mindset and ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution
