Position Overview: As a Mental Health Professional at Heartview Foundation in Cando, you will be an integral part of our team, collaborating closely with professionals to deliver vital clinical services to patients undergoing substance abuse treatment. You'll play a vital role in embracing innovative concepts such as medication-assisted treatment and harm reduction, conducting individual and group therapy sessions, and efficiently utilizing electronic health records. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role. Moreover, a deep understanding and respect for the diverse needs of our patient population are essential.

Requirements

Qualifications: To qualify for this role, candidates must possess one of the following licenses in the state of North Dakota: Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Consideration may be given to candidates with the status of Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. A minimum of two years of experience in the behavioral health field is preferred, but not required.


If in recovery, one must have achieved a period of sustained abstinence and be able to demonstrate successful rehabilitation and stability. 


Candidate Requirements: Qualified applicants will undergo a background check and must comply with our drug-free workplace policy.
