Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including powertrain systems, engines, electrical components, and vehicle systems.
- Use advanced automotive diagnostic tools, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Repair or replace engine components, including diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
- Conduct wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance, and safety inspections to uphold quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precise mechanical repair techniques.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of vehicle parts or equipment following proper safety protocols.
- Deliver excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and maintaining professional communication.
Requirements & Experience
- Experience: Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with GM or similar brands.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, ADAS, powertrain components, and maintenance procedures.
- Skills: Hands-on experience repairing diesel engines, executing heavy mechanical repairs, and reading repair manuals/schematics.
- Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certifications or OEM/factory training strongly preferred.
- Tools: Personal technician tools required.
- Mindset: Pride in quality workmanship and a fix-it-right-first-time mentality.

GM World Class Technician Certification – REQUIRED
- 5-year experience of extensive hands-on experience with GM vehicles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
