Reports to: Patio Bar & Grill Manager

Supervises: Bartenders, Servers, Bussers, Food Runners, Window Attendants & Hosts

Classification: 

  • Full time non-exempt
  • Previous fine dining and banquet experience 
  • Must be at lease 21 years of age to pour alcohol
  • Minimum of 2 years serving/bartending experience

  • Able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and split shifts
  • Must have good communication skills and a dynamic, outgoing personality 
  • Good organizational and follow through skills
  • Ability to execute and demonstrate proper wine service
  • Learn members names and special preferences 
  • Knowledge of beer, wine and liquor

Job Summary

In this role, you will be asked to perform a variety of supervisory functions. This starts with providing our members with a consistently high-quality dining experience. To do this, you will need to motivate our staff and demonstrate superior customer service skills.

As a supervisor, you will also help our team meet its standards for quality and profitability. This will involve ensuring that all food health and safety requirements are met. Your job is to train staff and help ensure that members and guest satisfaction and presentation standards are consistently attained. 

  • Supervises the restaurant & bar
  • Responsible for atmosphere such as music volume, lighting, fountain, air conditioning/heat
  • Train, coordinate & help with details that result in smooth service 
  • Resolve members concerns with professionalism & compassion
  • Lend a hand to fellow employees (greet their tables, help behind the bar if busy)
  • Oversee front of house operations, including wait staff, bartenders, food runners, hosts, window attendants and bussing staff
  • Manage staff with opening & closing procedures
  • Aware of any staff working over 6 hours takes a meal break before their 5th hour 
  • Cut staff if business is slow- lead server takes over and closes
  • Assign side work
  • Manage reservations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and lead staff to do the same
  • Respond to member complaints quickly and resolve them effectively
  • Develop strategies for improving our members dining experience
  • Make sure we have all the wine by the bottles stocked in the pacific dining room and the wine keeper
  • Keep server stations organized
  • Work with Ash to get wine order
  • Communication for equipment & staff needs to service director and F&B manager


Salary Description
$30 per hour
