We are looking for an experienced and friendly part time hotel bar tender to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for serving drinks to our guests and creating a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere in our hotel bar.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain knowledge of the Menu, Hotel, and local area
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, engaging in conversation and providing recommendations when appropriate
  • Take and serve food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels, restocking as needed
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all legal and company policies and procedures related to the sale and service of alcohol

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bar tender in a hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage handling, including proper pouring techniques and cocktail preparation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler's Certificate and any relevant certifications are a plus
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • TIPS or equivalent alcohol awareness certification is a plus
