What You’ll Be Doing:

Under the supervision of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), you will:

  • Provide hands-on therapy including therapeutic exercises, manual treatments, and appropriate modalities (e.g., TENS application).
  • Work with the DPT to develop and assign Home Exercise Programs (HEP) using WebPT Reach and guide Aides in instruction.
  • Monitor patient progress, ensuring treatment goals are met and documenting key milestones, including daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
  • Ensure seamless communication with the DPT and clinical team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Support and educate patients, making sure they feel comfortable, confident, and motivated throughout their recovery journey.

Hours Vary: 6:00 am to 7:00 pm

Requirements
  • Valid PTA license (required)
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and patient care best practices
  • Experience in various clinical settings (inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities)
  • Familiarity with discharge planning and individualized care plans
  • Skills in trigger point therapy and working with geriatric populations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the clinical team
  • Comfortable using technology-driven solutions like Prediction Health, WebPT, and EMR systems to enhance patient care
Salary Description
$66,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
