Description

The Federal Savings Bank is seeking a talented and experienced Back End Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using C# and .NET technologies. You will work closely with front end developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications. Your expertise in back end development will be crucial in optimizing performance, scalability, and security of our systems.


This position is based in our Chicago (Logan Square) corporate office. Qualified applicants should be local to the Chicago area and able to work onsite 1-2 days a week.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain back end applications using .NET and C# technologies
  • Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Implement and maintain APIs for seamless communication between different systems
  • Optimize application performance and scalability
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years' proven experience in back end development with expertise in C# and .NET
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • 2+ years' experience with database design and management (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Exceptional oral and written communication
