The Position
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Clinical Officer will play a critical role in the future growth of the Company. The ideal candidate will be a proven operations leader with experience working in a similar high-growth, private equity-backed, multi-site healthcare services business. The CCO will oversee and lead the clinical operations function. This person will balance their best-in-class skill set as an operations leader with a sincere compassion for the mission-driven work the company does.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides administrative and executive oversight to daily clinical operations
- Ensures standards of patient care and proper QA programs
- Helps define performance metrics, develop budget, and manage within key targets and cost
- Identifies value drivers and executes programs to capture opportunities
- Understands and works toward meeting current regulatory standards
- Addresses problems involving personnel, clinical staff, patients, families, facility partners, and general public
- Works alongside CMOs to evaluate and implement best-in-class medical technologies and data analytics to drive evidence-based decisions that improve patient outcomes
- Possesses a demonstrated ability to build, manage, and retain high performance teams
- Serves as a productive and collaborative member of executive team, responsible for influencing company direction, growth, and strategic planning
- Scales company through significant growth phase and change management
Desired Professional Requirements & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in clinical discipline or healthcare administration; advanced degree is preferred, but not a strict requirement
- Prior experience as regional or executive leader within a relevant, successful organization
- Prior experience in private equity-backed company
- Forward looking leader with firm grasp of operational needs and metrics (forecasting, KPI management, etc.)
- Experience integrating M&A and realizing key investment theses
- Effective utilizing technology systems to gain efficiencies and enable scalability of the business
- Track record of working collaboratively with other functional areas across the organization
- Experience and understanding of the drivers and demands of private equity investors and successful experience owning reporting and communication with the board of directors and private equity sponsors

Work is performed remotely (home office) or in a normal office setting in our Overland Park, KS headquarters with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
