Weatherization Principal Inspector


Performance Systems Development (PSD) is looking for a Principal Inspector to join our growing and dynamic programs team. We are seeking a high-performing individual with a positive can-do attitude, and key strengths and experience in team leadership, project management, weatherization experience, data tracking and reporting.

Our core business efforts span three major areas: 1) the delivery of high-impact energy efficiency programs; 2) workforce development and industry training; and 3) the design and development of award-winning energy efficiency software platforms. 


What will you do?

The Principal Inspector will work in a dynamic team environment QA/QC weatherization program work. As a Principal Inspector for PSD, you will be a part of a team of highly skilled professionals that manage the quality assurance of weatherization and retrofit programs for utilities. Your role would be to oversee a team.


Position responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Team management
  • Project and contract management
  • Client management
  • Performance monitoring and reporting
  • Technical Support

This position can either be remotely based or in an office, depending on location. If remotely based, the ability to work comfortably from home is a must. 


Need to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with BPI and/or Weatherization and Retrofit
  • People Management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for learning new software tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Primary work in Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Motivation to take on new tasks and opportunities that enable you to grow as the team/company grows

Salary Description
$80,000-$95,000/year
