Responsibilities:

As a Rehab Tech / Rehab Aide, you will support physical therapists in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, assisting with patient care and clinic operations and ensuring a smooth workflow.

  • Assist therapists during treatment sessions to ensure patient safety and success.
  • Prepare therapy areas and sanitize equipment to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Support patients in completing exercises and provide encouragement throughout their journey.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling, check-ins, and patient documentation.
  • Monitor and manage therapy supplies to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. A passion for helping others is a must!
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and a passion for helping others.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to assist patients and move equipment as needed.
  • Enrolled and participating in a program of study leading to qualification as a PTA or DPT
