Westside Family Healthcare is a nonprofit organization located in Delaware that provides high quality primary medical care without regard to ability to pay. The Director of Human Resources collaborates with Westside's leadership team to maximize the effectiveness of our greatest asset, our people. Areas of responsibility include talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, training, internal communications, employee relations and compliance with applicable employment-related laws, HRSA regulations and Joint Commission human resources standards.

About the Role:
1. Plan, supervise and coordinate the work activities of HR staff relating to recruitment, screening, selection, orientation, training, development, compensation, benefits, employee relations and recordkeeping to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures and timely and accurate completion of necessary tasks
2. Analyze and modify compensation and benefits programs to establish competitive programs and help retain talent and ensure compliance with legal requirements
3. Implement integrated performance management systems to ensure employee focus on WFH goals, development of employee capabilities and alignment of reward systems and retention of talent
4. Handle complex internal employee matters, such as investigations, and administration of terminations
5. Analyze data concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance evaluations and absenteeism rates to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement
6. Participate in the development and implementation of WFH’s strategic plan
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Management, Communications, or related field
2. Certification by SHRM or HRCI (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
3. Ten years of experience in the areas of talent acquisition, training, compensation and benefits, and employee relations
4. Previous experience using HR information systems (Paylocity preferred) and Microsoft office software (Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
5. Three years of experience in a human resources leadership role
6. Excellent written and oral communication and problem-solving abilities
