We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary School Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with elementary age students, providing essential counseling services and support. This role involves collaboration with a team of counselors and educators to promote mental health and mindfulness resources within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to elementary students to address social, emotional, and academic challenges.

- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement mental health and mindfulness resources in the classroom.

- Develop and conduct workshops and programs focused on social skills, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.

- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.

- Act as a resource for parents and guardians, offering guidance and support regarding their child's development and well-being.

- Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of a positive school climate.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

- Valid counseling license or certification as required by state regulations.

- Experience working with elementary age children in a counseling or educational setting.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.

- Knowledge of mental health resources and mindfulness practices suitable for young children.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
