The Commissary Kitchen plays a vital role in supporting all Little Ruby’s Café locations by ensuring seamless preparation and delivery of high-quality ingredients and dishes.

The Role
As a sous chef, you’ll help oversee kitchen operations at the commissary, ensuring the efficient preparation and distribution of ingredients and menu items to our locations. This is a key leadership role, perfect for a motivated culinary professional with experience in high-volume environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Prepare and oversee the production of food items for all Little Ruby’s Café locations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and uphold all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory, assist with ordering, and control food costs during evening shifts.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and day teams to ensure seamless operations across shifts.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle evening operations efficiently.
- Expertise in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
