George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for a JV Girls Tennis Coach which begins in late August and ends in early November.  This position is responsible for the management a quality JV tennis program to serve the George School students.  

Responsibilities

• Coach the the girls' JV team.
• Manage the assistant JV coach.
• Oversee and monitor practices.
• Provide feedback and help players develop their skills.
• Cultivate relationships with the students/athletes.
• Ensure that all George School policies are observed during all activities.  
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Candidates with education in a sports related field, and/or experience in a tennis program preferred.
• Prior coaching experience at the club, high school or college level is required.
• Certified in CPR, AED, First Aid, American Red Cross.  
• Clean driving record and ability to drive a team van. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work inside and outside and work with the weather conditions.
