Job Summary

• As a      Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, products, and      equipment between our facilities, suppliers, and customers in a timely and      safe manner. We deliver all over California and Nevada (may have overnight      stays from time to time). Home every weekend.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safely      operate class A and B trucks with forklifts on back. Knuckle boom      operations a plus!
• Transport      materials, products, and equipment to and from specified locations.
• Follow      all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and      efficient transportation.
• Perform      pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance      issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure      proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Maintain      accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and      delivery times.
• Communicate      effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate      delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
• Adhere      to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, safety,      and reporting.
• May      also be required to drive a regularly scheduled route and deliver to      customers as needed. Will require unloading and handling materials by hand      to ensure safe and timely deliveries.
• Other      duties assigned by management

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong      attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Load      securement.
• Excellent      communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

• Valid      Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience      with a 10 and 13-speed transmission. (No automatic recreations)
• Experience      with a Moffet plus.
• Minimum      of 2 years experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a manufacturing      or distribution environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged      periods of sitting and driving
• Must      be able to frequently lift up to 75lbs

$1500 SIGN ON BONUS after 6 months of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
