The Firehouse Restaurant is looking for Part-time Special Event Servers. If you have fine dining experience, please apply!
• Greet all guests in a friendly manner.
• Serve guest in an efficient, professional, timely, and hospitable manner.
• Clear and set tables.
• Perform side-station work, as required.
• Cooperate with other members of staff to provide the finest possible service to the guests in accordance with the high standards set forth.
• Serve water, bread, and coffee.
• Use crumber when clearing dishes.
• Replace soiled linens, properly store clean linen, and complete the daily soiled linen count.
• Follow dish room procedures.
• Supply side stations.
• Other duties, as assigned.
• At least 1 year of bus person fine dining experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Food and beverage knowledge.
• Knowledge of POS.
• Must obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Must obtain an RBS Certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Able to quickly solve problems by using effective listening skills and good judgment.
• Maintain regular attendance; report in a timely manner to work.
• Be a team player to ensure a cohesive work environment; act responsibly; communicate constructively.
• Primary concern must be guest satisfaction; service oriented.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and exert fast paced mobility for entire shift. Able to balance, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe.
• Able to hear and speak clearly.
