GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION  


 We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer to lead the development, customization, and integration of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in D365 F&O, with a focus on building scalable solutions, writing high-quality code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives. 


 As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying D365 customizations and extensions. You will work closely with stakeholders and other IT professionals to ensure our D365 platform is optimized to support our logistics and supply chain operations. 


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 


· Design and develop customized solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, including extensions, integrations, and reports. 

· Collaborate with business analysts, solutions architects, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 

· Write clean, efficient X++ code and perform detailed unit testing. 

· Develop and maintain integrations between D365 and third-party systems using APIs, OData, and other integration tools. 

· Provide technical support for D365 issues and troubleshoot system errors, bugs, and performance issues. 

· Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment. 

· Ensure solutions are compliant with Microsoft best practices and align with business needs. 

· Perform data migrations, data fixes, and data mapping when necessary. 

· Work closely with QA teams to validate the integrity and functionality of customizations and integrations. 

· Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft technologies, development tools, and D365 releases. 


QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB: 


· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

· 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 development. 

· Proven hands-on experience developing in X++, C#, and .NET. 

· Strong knowledge of D365 F&O architecture, data structures, and security model. 

· Experience with Microsoft Azure services, DevOps pipelines, and LCS (Lifecycle Services). 

· Experience integrating D365 with external applications (REST/SOAP APIs). 

· Proficient with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) is a plus. 

· Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (Trade & Logistics, Finance, or Microsoft Sure Step) are a strong advantage. 

· Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. 

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

· Jira experience is a plus 

· Manage all levels of system administration support for all Dynamics AX environments. 

· Manage release management and change management processes for Dynamics AX. 

· Manage upgrade/update support.  Monitor and communicate maintenance notifications o Monitor performance Dynamics AX environments. 

· Deploy and manage developer environments. 

· Assist to maintain, and test system configurations and workflows. 

· Knowledge of emerging Microsoft technologies; Azure Cloud Platform & Databricks is a plus 


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 


· Remote-friendly with occasional travel as needed (expected to be minimal; once per quarter or less). 

· Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
