Midwest Family Mutual Insurance Company is a well-established, regional insurance provider operating in 23 states, offering a full range of Commercial and Personal Property & Casualty products. We are seeking an experienced Regional Marketing/Sales Representative to manage and grow our agent network in the Wisconsin region. This role is remote but requires in-state residence and regular travel.
The Regional Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities within a designated region. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, and building strong relationships with independent agents to achieve regional sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a network of independent agents
- Promote products and support agent growth
- Plan and execute regional sales strategies
- Conduct agency visits, presentations, and market research
- Report sales activities and market insights to management
Requirements:
- Must reside in Wisconsin
- 4+ years of sales or underwriting experience in insurance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and physically able to operate a company vehicle. Candidates must be prepared for significant driving time, with potential for long-distance travel.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship management skills
- Willing to travel regularly across the region
- Organized, self-starter with ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Home office with high-speed internet required
