Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Operations Analyst to support our internal operations across several key areas including systems implementation and configuration, staff accounting, HR and payroll, and compliance. This position offers a unique opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain broad exposure and hands-on experience in core business functions while working alongside cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with onboarding and configuring new software systems for accounting, HR, and payroll
- Document business requirements and support system testing and training
- Troubleshoot user issues and escalate as needed
- Support journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close tasks
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processes and expense tracking
- Help compile financial reports and audit support documentation
- Help maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and payroll systems
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes, benefits enrollment, and time tracking
- Prepare payroll inputs and assist with payroll audits under supervision
- Help ensure proper documentation is collected and filed for audits, training, and HR processes
- Assist with research, tracking deadlines, and reporting for local, state, and federal compliance
- Monitor changes in policy or regulation and provide administrative support for internal reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field a plus
- Strong Excel and data entry skills; experience with systems like QuickBooks, ADP, or NetSuite is a plus
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and willing to learn
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
