POSITION SUMMARY
We have an exciting new Senior Agency Relations Administrative Coordinator position to join our growing team! This exciting role provides the opportunity to showcase your exceptional ability to build positive relationships to both FCBI and MidSouth’s valued insurance agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have keen attention to detail, be extremely organized, and have excellent communication skills. This position works with and reports directly to the Agency Relations Manager and with a phenomenal all-around supportive team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative support with Stakeholder Collaboration including, but not limited to:
- Respond timely to contacts from within the agency and policyholders.
- Make sure all required paperwork is received from potential agents for appointment to be processed, whether new or due to an acquisition.
- Appoint new agents in various states in a timely manner and complete their agency setup in our system.
- Provide outstanding customer service to agents and policyholders over the phone and in writing.
- Build and maintain positive relationships between FCBI and MidSouth’s valued insurance agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders.
- Help identify challenges and help implement solutions in the best interest of the organization in conjunction with input from your manager and leadership team.
- Update spreadsheet with appointment status.
- Ensure agents files are accurately up to date.
- Co-manage administrative access to agency programs and systems.
- Assist with additional projects as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- 5+ years of experience in an administrative or customer service position, or in a related role.
- College degree preferred, but not required.
- Experience in the Insurance Industry (workers’ comp a plus).
- Multi-state experience in appointing new agency set-ups.
- Proven track record of strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
