Legal & Regulatory Clerk
Description

The selected applicant will work alongside ALTA’s Education & Research Manager to assist the Education Department with the Title Insurance Regulatory Surveys and the ALTA Policy Forms Collection. 


The Legal & Regulatory Clerk will:

  • Maintain a list of state contacts
  • Identify which states are ready for updates and forwards surveys to them
  • Update the TIRS summary chart
Requirements

Applicants must be highly organized, enjoy interacting with people, and working as part of a team. Study concentrations in public policy, communications, business, law, or government are helpful, though not required. The successful candidate will be creative, entrepreneurial and self-directed with strong writing and communications skills. Previous intern experience in business, legislative affairs, political action committees, and the Hill are a plus.

  • Hours: 20-29 hours
  • Wage: $18/hour
