About the Role
We are hiring dedicated Residential Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a residential home setting. As a DSP, you will help individuals with their daily routines, promote independence, and ensure a safe and supportive living environment. Available Shifts
• Day Shift: 6:00 AM-2:00 PM, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, 4:00 PM -12:00 AM
• Overnight Shift: 10:00 PM-6:00 AM, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Double Shifts: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM, 8:00 PM-8:00 AM
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and document individuals’ physical and emotional well-being
• Must be able to assist Individuals through all types of behavioral challenges appropriately
• Administer medications (according to training and policy)
• Support individuals with mobility and the use of adaptive equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
• Prepare meals and follow individual dietary plans
• Assist with community outings and recreational activities
• Implement individualized support and behavioral plans
• Complete accurate daily electronic documentation and comply with HIPAA and IDD regulations within the Therap platform
• Promote independence and meaningful participation in daily life
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety protocols
• Higher-functioning individuals should be encouraged to complete their ADLs and household duties with assistance rather than having the staff complete them. Staff should make provisions for each person supported to account for person-centered programming.

Requirements
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Speak English
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to lift, transfer, and physically support individuals as needed
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required for some sites)
Certifications & Screenings
• CPR & First Aid Certification (required)
• Medication Administration Training (preferred or provided)
• Crisis Prevention/Intervention Training (preferred)
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (required)
• Must pass national and state criminal background checks
• Must complete TB/PPD test and physical exam
• Subject to DMV screening and random drug testing
