The Credit Analyst is responsible for underwriting credit requests and assisting the Chief Administrative & Risk Officer in loan portfolio management, analysis, and reporting. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong analytical and underwriting skill sets and are eager to collaborate with internal teams. The Credit Analyst has significant exposure to senior leadership and countless development opportunities for growth in banking and credit risk management. The ambition for this role is a migration into an Associate Banker role.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Preparing credit analyses to determine customer credit worthiness and ability to repay debt
- Assisting Bankers by interfacing with business owners and finance teams to understand cash flows and business risk
- Working with senior Banking personnel and with Chief Administrative & Risk Officer as lead on initiative to streamline underwriting processes associated with certain credit requests and ensuring compliance with bank regulations
- Generating quarterly analyses and reporting to Board Credit Committee pertaining to portfolio risks
- Maintaining strong attention to detail in the preparation of spreadsheets, credit memos, and other documentation
- Interfacing with auditors and examiners as needed to meet their information requirements

Experience and Skills
- 2+ years of working knowledge and experience in a professional services firm preferred
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and other financial software systems
Education and Designations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
- Bonus points: Advanced Degree or Professional Designation (CFP, CTFA, CFA, etc.)
