  • Serve as the deputy lead for an operational team, supporting day-to-day management, planning, and mission execution.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members while fostering a collaborative and accountable work culture.
  • Lead by example by taking on operational tasks and responsibilities alongside the team.
  • Liaise with humanitarian partners, host nation authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and collaboration.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and scenario development to inform program direction and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project implementation, identify areas for improvement, and help drive quality assurance and adaptive programming.
  • Assist with staffing plans, operational readiness, and surge support during critical incidents.
  • Ensure team compliance with humanitarian principles, security protocols, and donor or partner requirements.
  • Represent Safe Reach Solutions at coordination forums, stakeholder briefings, and operational planning sessions.

  • Strong understanding of humanitarian coordination mechanisms, principles, and operational challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in cross-cultural teams and high-pressure environments.
  • Field experience in the Middle East, especially in conflict-affected or post-crisis settings.
  • Able to travel or deploy to international field locations as needed.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MA, MSc, MPA) in humanitarian affairs, international relations, or emergency management.
