Server Assistant

Naples Yacht Club is looking for a Part-time Server Assistant/Food Runner. In this role you will assist the food server in assuring prompt and polite service to the members and their guests. We are looking for individuals with passion for excellence, articulate, confident and an eye for detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To      efficiently assist the front waiter in a friendly and courteous manner. To      follow the service sequence and standards of the club, according to the      training standards.
  • To      reset tables as needed before, during and after service hours according to      priorities established by the guests’ needs.
  • Assist      in food delivery, taking out trays of food with large tables when      available, serving, condiment service, ground pepper service, and bread      presentation.
  • To      ensure sufficient set-ups for service station, including silver, china,      sugar, creamers, tea, tea box, water according to business levels. 
  • Knowledge      of, respect for, and adherence to all staff privileges and      responsibilities
  • To be      prepared to seat guests in the absence of the room Captain. Guests are to      be seated when approaching the table.
  • Cleans      all, iced tea machines, coffee machines, breadbox and other work      equipment.

  • Work      experience in customer service is preferred
