ClassLink is seeking a Sales Engineer to collaborate with our Sales team in introducing, promoting, and championing ClassLink to new K–12 school districts.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales team throughout the sales process by delivering impactful presentations and offering subject matter expertise on technical integrations, product implementation, and industry best practices.
- Attend conferences to drive new sales initiatives and gather customer feedback for product development.
- Act as a key liaison between the Sales team and Product Development, actively collaborating with developers, participating in development meetings, and providing strategic feedback to help shape the product roadmap.
- Provide updates to the Sales team on product development, updates, and initiatives.
- Deliver training and guidance to the Sales team on new product development, best practices, and support Sales efforts with product knowledge.
- Actively seek ways to improve product functionality, performance, and suitability for K-12 students, faculty, and staff.

- Prior experience as a systems or network engineer, technology director, CTO, or similar role at a K-12 or Higher Education institution is required.
- Strong technical background in Identity Management, Rostering, and SIS products, and technologies like SQL, REST APIs, and system integrations.
- Direct, hands-on experience with ClassLink products is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Ability to attend conferences, dinners and meetings which may require travel on weekends and/or evenings.
- BA/BS in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience is required.
