Data Acquisition Manager
Description

The Data Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the data acquisition, data processing, and post mailing activities for all Franklin Madison Direct clients. This position is expected to provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain professional relationships with vendors and all company representatives. As a key member of the Data Department, this role requires a self-directed, analytical thinker who is capable of discerning relevance within large data sets and comfortable providing insights and perspectives which drive client marketing performance forward.


Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, order, and track all data lists for various client’s mailings, which includes recommending new list tests, presenting final mail plans, creating purchase orders, facilitating price concessions, approving list invoices, and billing clients.
  • Create, manage, and QC all data processes including merge/purge, final split instructions, and mail output files for all direct mail campaigns.
  • Design, build, implement and maintain data-driven reporting, dashboards and solutions – while ensuring data integrity is upheld.
  • Supervise and oversee client’s data files, which can include: NCOA, standardization, CASS, data transfers, live laser signoffs, etc.
  • Client list recommendations are delivered on time and are thorough, diverse, and robust.
  • Consistently plan and schedule data projects to achieve client deadlines and desired      mail/in-home dates.
  • Data list orders are organized, reliable, error-free and are within the planned timelines.
  • Seek efficiency through automation of processes to enhance merge/purge data flow.
  • Successfully negotiate price concessions on list rental data that improve Franklin Madison Direct’s net margin.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Applied Analytics, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a marketing agency a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and Access
