Position: Construction Materials Pickup Driver 

Reports to: Lab Manager – Special Inspection

Technical Responsibilities:

- Duties can include travelling to various project sites daily and transporting packages and other goods.

- Duties include loading goods, using navigation tools to arrive at the right address and delivering parcels to the correct address.

- Follow the best practice for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck.

- Planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.

- Communicating with dispatchers, and other team members to make deliveries

- Meeting delivery deadlines.

- Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.

- Updating monthly mileage records.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, which help with work efficiency.

- Obtaining client signature when needed.

- Responsive to Client and other KSE Manager/ needs, and all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

- 1 year driving experience and OSHA 10 preferred but not required

- High school diploma or Equivalent

- Proven experience as a Driver.

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with minimal traffic violations.

- Familiar with GPS devices.

- Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage.

- A polite and professional disposition.

- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving Situations (e.g., at rush hour).

Physical Requirements:

- Physical strength and ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs

- Handle, inspect, and /or feel materials and/or equipment relevant to the job.

- Move around on the jobsite, including ascending or descending on the landscape or on a ladder.
