Warehouse Manager
Description

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse for a telecommunications company. This includes overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment used in the construction, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy, manage shipping and receiving schedules, and develop efficient warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and accuracy
  • Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including training and development
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment used in the construction, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field technicians to ensure that materials and equipment are available when needed
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records
  • Ensure that all materials and equipment are properly labeled, stored, and secured
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Manage to ship and receiving schedules to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, in compliance with safety regulations and company policies


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the telecommunications industry
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with warehouse management software and inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a warehouse environment for extended periods of time


Salary Description
$60,000 - $70,000
