Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team on a full-time basis. The CRNA will provide high-quality, compassionate anesthesia care in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals. This role offers a supportive and team-oriented environment with opportunities for professional growth and a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and patient education
     
  • Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
     
  • Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC)
     
  • Monitor patients during procedures, adjusting anesthesia as needed
     
  • Ensure safe emergence and recovery from anesthesia
     
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
     
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
     
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care support as needed
     
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

Requirements
  • Current and unrestricted  CRNA licensure in South Carolina  
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program  
  • Current certification or recertification by the NBCRNA  
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or willing to obtain)  
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team  
  • Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
