Designated as the Social Care Network (SCN) Lead Entity for the Capital Region, Central NY, and North Country under New York’s 1115 Waiver Amendment’s SCN & Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) Program, we are responsible for ensuring that there is a seamless, consistent end-to-end process for HRSN screening, navigation, and the delivery of HRSN and other services to thousands of Medicaid Members.   • Salary range: $83,050-$95,507.50 per year, commensurate with experience 

Who You Are

 

The Senior Contracts Administrator plays a key role in the drafting, review, and administration of contracts for Healthy Alliance. This position supports the contract lifecycle from initial agreement to execution and supports business objectives through strategic contract management. 


What You’ll Do 

  • Draft and review standard Healthy Alliance templated contracts and agreements in coordination with internal and external stakeholders, as needed.
  • Send out contracts electronically through Healthy Alliance’s internal contract management system for signature and routing. Track execution status, ensuring timely execution by following up with internal business users and external parties as needed.
  • Collaborate with Transformation/Contracting departments to review contract terms and resolve any issues among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.
  • Maintain and regularly update the contract repository to ensure accurate, organized, and accessible contract records. Monitor contract renewal, expiration, and amendment timelines, coordinating with the Director of Contracting and relevant stakeholders to initiate, draft, and distribute renewal and amendment documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in laws that may impact contracts and agreements.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Requirements

 

What You’ll Need 

Education 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field. Significant and relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of educational experience.  

Professional Work Experience 

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in contract management or legal roles. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

  • Strong understanding of contract law, agreements, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations.
  • Experience negotiating contracts is a plus.
  • Experience creating contracts in health care or Managed Care Organizations a plus.
