The Production IT Support role is an onsite (North Hollywood) position responsible for providing dedicated technical support to our growing animation studio. This individual will handle help desk tickets, assist with asset management, and support onboarding and offboarding processes. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, and communicates effectively both in writing and verbally. This role offers a great opportunity to grow in the animation technology field while contributing to the smooth operation of a dynamic creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Help Desk Support:
- Respond to and resolve basic IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Set up and maintain workstations, software, and peripheral devices for team members.
- Troubleshoot common technical issues including connectivity, software errors, and hardware malfunctions.
User Support & Onboarding/Offboarding:
- Assist in onboarding new team members, including setting up accounts, workstations, and access permissions.
- Ensure off-boarding procedures are followed, including revoking access and retrieving equipment.
- Maintain documentation and checklists for onboarding and offboarding workflows.
Asset & Inventory Management:
- Help track and manage hardware and software inventory, including loaner equipment.
- Maintain records of asset assignments, repairs, and updates.
- Assist with organizing and labeling equipment and storage.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the IT team and production departments to support daily operations.
- Provide clear and courteous communication with staff to ensure a positive support experience.
- Document resolutions and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support or help desk, preferably in a creative or production environment.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal); able to explain technical issues clearly.
- Basic knowledge of MacOS, Windows, networking, and software troubleshooting.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Ability to follow procedures and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Familiarity with asset management or ticketing systems is a plus.
