We are looking for a forward-thinking Full-stack Software Engineer with a solid foundation in core engineering principles, system design, and clean code craftsmanship. Our team takes immense pride in writing robust, maintainable, and well-tested code. However, we aren't traditionalists—we actively look for engineers who possess the agility to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-assisted workflows (such as Cursor and Claude) to maximize velocity and safely deliver value.

In this position, you will apply disciplined engineering practices to architect intelligent systems and integrate AI technologies directly into our core SaaS platforms, while also exploring secure on-premise deployment models to meet diverse customer needs.

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that power our web applications and analytics engines.  
• Develop user-facing features in our React-based web application. 
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality features from concept through deployment. 
• Design scalable, maintainable, and secure software for cloud, customer-managed, on-premises, and air-gapped deployments. 
• Improve the architecture, performance, reliability, and maintainability of our platform. 
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality. 
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation while maintaining engineering excellence. 
• Contribute to technical design discussions and help shape the future direction of the platform. 

Qualifications 

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building production applications 
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including system design, API design, data modeling, testing, and maintainable architecture. 
• Experience developing software in one or more modern programming languages. Our current technology stack includes Go, Python, TypeScript, and React, but we value engineers who can quickly learn new technologies and become productive across the stack. 
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational and/or document databases. 
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows, including code reviews. 
• Comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as part of a professional engineering workflow. 
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. 
• United States work authorization without sponsorship is required 

Desired Skills & Competencies 

• Experience designing distributed, event-driven and data-intensive systems. 
• Experience building applications deployed in cloud, on-premises, or air-gapped environments. 
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. 
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP.  
• Experience working in agile, product-focused software development teams. 
• A passion for continuous learning, improving engineering workflows, and exploring emerging development tools and practices.
