In this position you would be responsible for moving and cleaning vehicles; keeping the vehicles in sound working condition; and helping the service director as requested. You will report directly to the Service Director.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Must a have valid California driver's license for a minimum of 3 years, and eligible for coverage under dealership insurance policy, required
- Ability to drive a standard vehicle, preferred but not necessary
- Previous dealership equivalent working experience, preferred
- Bilingual, preferred but not necessary
- Ability to multitask in a demanding environment
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license.
Essential Duties, but not limited to:
- Maintains service vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning exterior of vehicles.
- Places service tags in vehicles.
- Keeps vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the service director and according to dealership display standards.
- Sweeps, shovels or vacuums loose debris or salvageable scrap into containers and removes containers from work areas.
- Inspects parts, equipment, or vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
- Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
