Your Role
Work Location:
Metro Self-Storage
1575 Main Street
Buffalo, NY 14209
Schedule:
- Full-time position
- Monday, Wednesday-Saturday
- 9:00am to 5:30pm
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of storage units, buildings, and outdoor grounds
- Remove snow and maintain clear, safe sidewalks and entryways during winter months
- Support vehicle preparation and cleaning for customer storage and pick-up
- Assist with specialized tasks like Jeep Top installations (training provided)
- Carry out regular facility checks to ensure everything is in good working order
- Follow established procedures for cleanliness, maintenance, and safety
- Occasionally assist at the front desk with customer check-ins, paperwork, or phone coverage
Salary:
- $19-$21 per hour, depending on experience
What You Bring
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills, abilities, and interests:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay focused and motivated during repetitive, task-based work
- Time management and ability to follow through on tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Education & Experience
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Prior janitorial or customer service experience
