Rehab For All is in search for Registered Behavior Technicians.

Rehab For All provides outpatient and home health services to the medically fragile and underserved pediatric population in Colorado. We improve the lives of children and families in our communities. Our goal is to provide and coordinate the best services and care to our patients and their families. To achieve this goal, we need dedicated and passionate staff to add to our team.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy?

ABA therapy applies our understanding of how behavior works to real situations. The goal is to increase behaviors that are helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning.

Applied Behavior Analysis involves many techniques for understanding and changing behavior. ABA is a flexible treatment:

  • Can be adapted to meet the needs of each unique person
  • Provided in many different locations – at home, at school, and in the community
  • Teaches skills that are useful in everyday life
  • Can involve one-to-one teaching or group instruction

Basic Job Functions include:

  • Providing one to one care for clients and their families
  • Engaging learners throughout session through naturalistic and play based therapies.
  • Implementation of written behavior intervention plans for behaviors with differing characteristics and functions
  • Teaching replacement behaviors such as communication, social skills, and building independence within daily living skills.
  • Responding to problem behavior calmly through ABA principles and written behavior intervention plans
  • Accepting and applying positive feedback and constructive criticism to be the best for the clients we serve.
  • Being a key stakeholder with a client team in progress within client progress for skill acquisition goals.
  • Collaborating with a client team that includes BCBA/BCaBA and other RBTs to provide effective care to clients.
  • Implementation of assent-based practices

Our Interview Process-

  • You'll receive a Calendly link to schedule an interview that works for your schedule!
  • 1st interview - 20-30 minute phone interview 
  • 2nd interview- In-person center visit (meet with BCBA, clients, team members and shadow our clients) expect to be there for up to an hour
  • Update within 24hrs for our decision

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Qualification Requirements

Knowledge/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED, Required•
  • Must hold current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as issued Behavior Analyst Certification (BACB) or be willing to test upon hire and training.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of behavior analytic therapies; experience delivering these services Must the have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be and able to prompt and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children that possess challenging behavior.
  • Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
  • Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include home, school and community placements.
  • Must be have able to receive detailed information through written communication.
  • Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites.

Equipment, Tools, and Software

  • Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Basic office equipment

Licenses/Certifications

  • RBT credentialed
  • PCM Certified
  • CPR and First Aid trained

Physical Demands

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting,standing) for extended periods.
  • Must be able to sit on floor or stand for long periods

Work Environment

  • Must be able to work well as part of a team
  • Must be able to work in home, community, and within a center
Salary Description
$21-$25/hour
