Lead Resident Assistant

We’re hiring a Lead Resident Assistant to provide exceptional care and oversight in our assisted living community. This position includes leadership responsibilities and hands-on resident care to ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for our seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care including assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication support
  • Support and train care staff; model best practices and reinforce policies
  • Monitor resident well-being, chart changes in electronic health records, and report to clinical leadership
  • Conduct safety checks, maintain secure facilities, and respond to emergencies
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal service, laundry, light housekeeping, and activity engagement
  • Manage supplies, maintain medication cart audits, and complete shift-specific documentation (TAR, vitals, labs, etc.)
  • Participate in daily walk-throughs to ensure community readiness

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year experience in senior care preferred
  • Familiarity with dementia care and safe transfer techniques
  • Comfortable using computers and standard office equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
  • CPR/First Aid and medication assistance certifications preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
