Description
We’re hiring a Lead Resident Assistant to provide exceptional care and oversight in our assisted living community. This position includes leadership responsibilities and hands-on resident care to ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for our seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care including assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication support
- Support and train care staff; model best practices and reinforce policies
- Monitor resident well-being, chart changes in electronic health records, and report to clinical leadership
- Conduct safety checks, maintain secure facilities, and respond to emergencies
- Assist with daily tasks such as meal service, laundry, light housekeeping, and activity engagement
- Manage supplies, maintain medication cart audits, and complete shift-specific documentation (TAR, vitals, labs, etc.)
- Participate in daily walk-throughs to ensure community readiness
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year experience in senior care preferred
- Familiarity with dementia care and safe transfer techniques
- Comfortable using computers and standard office equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
- CPR/First Aid and medication assistance certifications preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
