Description

Position Overview:
Arizona Critical Care Specialists is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team. This full-time hospital-based position involves inpatient pulmonary consults and ongoing care at a hospital located in the East Valley region of the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert inpatient pulmonary consultation and management
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic respiratory conditions
  • Collaborate with critical care, hospitalist, and specialty teams to ensure high-quality, multidisciplinary patient care
  • Interpret and evaluate pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and sleep studies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medical staff activities
  • Deliver care with a patient-first, evidence-based philosophy

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with completion of an accredited Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Arizona
  • Inpatient and ICU experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position with flexible scheduling options
  • Rotating call shared equitably among pulmonary team members

Requirements
