We are seeking individuals to join our Grounds Maintenance Crew at Center Grove Orchard. The primary responsibility of the Grounds Crew is to maintain a clean, safe and organized environment on the farm while contributing to a positive experience for visitors and ensuring the farm's overall aesthetic appeal. If you have a preference of working behind the scenes while being constantly active in a dynamic environment and contributing to a fun and festive atmosphere, this role is for you! 

Roles & Responsibilities

As a part of the Farmyard Grounds Crew role, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining the overall cleanliness of the Farmyard
• Regularly picking up trash in all areas of the farm and Parking Lots
• Assisting with additional duties as needed, e.g., putting wheelbarrows away, fixing fences, building campfires, power washing, minor repairs and supporting other aspects of grounds maintenance.
• Working collaboratively with other members of the grounds crew to achieve goals
• Properly using and maintaining any equipment or tools required for grounds maintenance tasks
• Following safety guidelines and protocols while completing tasks

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Available on weekends and some weekday evenings
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Able to handle working in variety of weather conditions from hot to cold and rain to snow 
• Pass the Equipment Operator Driving Test
• Know the difference between gasoline and diesel
• Not afraid to get dirty!
