Description

JOB SUMMARY 

Seeking a Flooring Field Technician to join our team. The candidate is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of flooring materials in residential or commercial settings. Duties may include measuring and preparing the installation area, removing old flooring, leveling the subfloor, and cutting and fitting the flooring materials. May also be responsible for applying adhesives, nailing or stapling the flooring, and ensuring proper alignment and finishing. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist field team
  • Complete assigned service tickets as scheduled
  • Report any issues or delays to Warranty Team
  • Aid in monitoring job quality while completing services
  • Address quality concerns and report issues to Warranty Management team
  • Ensure materials are available to complete tasks, including but not limited to screws, caulk, stock materiel, saw, drill, batteries, and tools.
  • Walking jobsites daily to ensure project is on schedule and that the workmanship meets plans, specifications and Arlun’s (an ADG Company) standards of quality.
  • Must fully understand safety policies and uphold quality and industry standards requirements

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
