Description
We’re looking for someone to lead our drone technology efforts, helping customers adopt and use spray drones and UAV solutions in their farming operations. As our Ag Technology & Drone Specialist, you’ll work directly with customers to demonstrate equipment, support setup and training, and provide ongoing service. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines sales, field support, and technical troubleshooting.
Customer Engagement & Solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, applicators, and ag retailers
- Promote and sell agricultural spray drones (ex. DJI Agras series)
- Conduct field demos, trials, and hands-on customer training
- Educate users on FAA Part 107 requirements and assist with onboarding
- Manage leads, prepare quotes/proposals, and follow up to close deals
- Provide ongoing customer support to drive satisfaction and repeat business
Technology & Field Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with drones, controllers, batteries, and payload systems
- Perform pre-delivery setup, firmware updates, and calibrations
- Provide remote and on-site support as needed
- Maintain accurate repair orders and parts inventory logs
Requirements
- Experience in ag technology, drone, or equipment sales strongly preferred
- Familiarity with UAV operations or FAA Part 107 license (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Comfortable working with technology, electronics, software, and firmware updates (not traditional mechanical repair)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers in the field
- Self-motivated and able to manage leads, follow-ups, and customer relationships
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel regionally
