Description

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a General Dentist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Mason City, IA! New grads encouraged to apply!


What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.


Role Details:

  • Clinic Hours: Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm (open to flexibility); no evenings, weekends, call
  • Sees on average 14 patients per day + hygiene checks
  • Provider team includes: 2 dentists, 1 dental hygienist, and 5 dental assistants.
  • Operatories: 6
  • EHR: Epic Wisdom

Duties: hygiene checks, limiteds, treatment, extractions, root canals, dentures on a variety of patient populations, some who have not had dental care in years

  • Competitive Salary: $180,000 - $230,000/year based on experience.
